Mr. Hall is a seasoned executive who has served as Gartner’s Chief Executive Officer since 2004. With a proven ability to oversee corporate growth strategy and shareholder value creation, Mr. Hall has played a critical role in transforming Gartner from an IT research firm to a global company that delivers actionable, objective business and technology insights. This has been achieved through successfully completing the integration of more than 17 acquisitions and by strengthening the Company’s market position and operational excellence. Mr. Hall has overseen the development and expansion of innovative tools and client solutions, which have supported Gartner’s long-term growth strategy. Before joining Gartner, Mr. Hall served as President of Automatic Data Processing, Inc.’s (NASDAQ: ADP) Employers Services Major Accounts Division (1998-2004), where he helped lead the integration of software innovation solutions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hall advised clients across the electronics, telecommunications and financial services sectors on turnaround strategies in several leadership positions at McKinsey & Company (1982-1998).
