Mr. Cesan is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in operations and business development, is skilled in strategic planning and global business management and brings an expertise navigating regulatory and geopolitical shifts. Mr. Cesan spent 25 years in various leadership positions at Schering-Plough Corporation, a global pharmaceutical company acquired by Merck & Co. in 2009, including as President and Chief Operation Officer 
(1998-2001), where he managed global operations during a period of significant growth. Through his executive positions, Mr. Cesan has a strong track record overseeing R&D and global market strategies across regions such as Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and Africa, and expanding client relations and service offerings. Mr. Cesan founded the investment firm Commercial Worldwide LLC in 2001 and currently serves as Managing Director.

Mr. Cesan brings extensive governance and strategic oversight expertise acquired through his public board service at First Health Group Corp (2001-2005) (Previous NASDAQ: FHCC), and the New York Times Company (1999-2018) (NYSE: NYT).
